Alexander Lurie - Founder + CEO
Alexander is the Founder and CEO of TheChiGuide.com. A graduate from Northwestern University with a degree in Communications and Political Science, Lurie previously worked for Mercer Management Consulting in business strategy and operations. Lurie left Mercer in September 2007 to pursue work at some of Chicago's most respected restaurants, bars and clubs. His experience includes work at Spiaggia, Rockit Ranch Productions, and Landmark Grill + Lounge. In 2008, Lurie helped manage the marketing effort for City Chase USA, a one-day urban adventure offering an experience recalling reality shows like the Amazing Race. Originally from San Francisco, Lurie feels at home in Chicago and considers himself a Chicagoan.
Rajib Nandi - COO + CFO
Rajib Nandi is CFO & COO of TheChiGuide.com. In his current role he is responsible for the technology, operations and finances of the company. Rajib has over six years of experience within trading and investment technology with Bank of America. Rajib holds a BS in Computer Engineering and Economics from Northwestern University and is currently pursuing a Master's in Bio Engineering at the University of Illinois, Chicago. In his spare time he likes to listen to music, and sample food from the diverse restaurants in the city. A self proclaimed chef , he secretly dreams of being on Top Chef one day.
Chris Ash - Editor in Chief
Christopher Ash is the Editor in Chief of TheChiGuide.com. Chris graduated from Northwestern University in 2001 and spent several years in New York City. Chris returned to Chicago to embark on an extensive career in the media and entertainment industries, which included tenures at Minty Fresh Records, NoVo Arts, MTV Networks, and Intersport TV. As an account manager at Avenue A | Razorfish, Chris gained an extensive professional education in print, online, and mobile advertising as well as brand management. At TheChiguide.com, Chris is responsible for website and newsletter content management, sponsorships and business development. Chris will begin an Entertainment MBA in the fall.
